Product Description Native 5 Signature USA-MADE Knife

Spyderco’s Native Lightweight has long been the preferred cutting tool for tactical knife users. The Native 5, the fifth generation of this design, takes it a step further by combining a lightweight fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle, a sleek black finish, and a sharp SpyderEdge cutting edge with the advanced engineering of the Native 5 platform. The CPM S30V stainless steel blade is full-flat-ground and coated with a durable Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating. The SpyderEdge cutting edge provides excellent cutting power, especially on fibrous materials. The knife also features an index-finger choil for better control during detailed cutting tasks.

The back lock mechanism, a key feature of the Native 5 design, securely locks the blade in the open position and allows for ambidextrous one-handed opening and closing using the blade’s Round Hole. The linerless injection-molded FRN handle has a Bi-Directional Texturing pattern for maximum grip security and includes threaded stainless steel inserts to mount the reinforced hourglass clip either tip-up or tip-down on either side of the knife.
