The design was believed to have originated with sailors who needed a safe blade they couldn't stab themselves or others with if dropped. It has since become a favorite among seafarers, EMT's, and ranchers.

State-of-the-Art Design The Atlantic Salt is a modified Rescue knife made with ultra-corrosion-resistant H-1 steel. The hollow-ground blade is available in SpyderEdge for exceptional cutting performance in both fresh and saltwater environments.

Durable and Functional The molded FRN handle of the Atlantic Salt includes a shackle key and comes in black or bright yellow. It also features a reversible black-coated titanium pocket clip for convenient carry on either side. For added security in water-related activities, we recommend using a lanyard cord through the lanyard hole.
